Last week, Collaborate 2014,the annual Quest International independent user group conference, was held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Once again the JD Edwards team made several innovative product announcements including new Mobile Apps, a new In-Memory Application, new Business Process Models, and the availability of EnterpriseOne Tools Release 9.1.4:
- Twenty additional new EnterpriseOne Mobile Enterprise Applications, putting into users’ hands role based and fit for purpose applications on the most popular mobile devices.
- A new module, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne In-Memory Planning Advisor, to help organizations respond quickly to changes in supply and demand.
- New editable Business Process Models for EnterpriseOne 9.1 which simplify deploying and using JD Edwards, thus reducing costs while leveraging best practices.
- Tools release 9.1 Update 4, which includes technical and platform enhancements in addition to several compelling user experience enhancements such as Watch list within EntrpriseOne Pages, Scratch Pad and create your own application capabilities as part of user personalization features.
But the most compelling and engaging statements made by Lyle Ekdahl, Sr. Vice President of JD Edwards, were his commitment to invest in the technologies that are driving the future of ERP; including Simplification, Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data and the Consumeration of IT.
JD Edwards software will make it easier, faster, cheaper and safer for customers to benefit from rapidly delivered enhancements…and by collaborating with our customers and partners, we are developing innovative and differentiated solutions that provide high value.
