The JCP EC Election Set to Start on 26 September

Nathan Tse
Program Manager Intern

The 2017 Fall Executive Committee (EC) Election will be starting on 26 September, beginning with the opening of the nominations period of the Election.

The JCP will accept nominations for the 8 Ratified, 3 Elected and 1 Associate seats from 26 September through 9 October. In order to nominate yourself for an EC seat, you must be either a Full or Partner Member.  Full and Partner Members vote for the Ratified and Elected seats.  Associate Members vote for the Associate seat. The ballot will be open from 31 October through 13 November. The results will be available on jcp.org on 14 November.

If you have an interest in participating in the JCP EC, please join the JCP  and start preparing the materials now - biography, photograph & contact information for representatives, qualification statement and position paper. More details are available on the JCP EC Elections page.

This is also a great time to join the JCP as either a Full Member, Partner Member or Associate Member. If you join before 26 October, you will be able to vote in the 2017 JCP EC Election.

If you have any questions, please send us an email: pmo@jcp.org.
