The Java Community Process (JCP) program 2021 Executive Committee (EC)
Elections have started with open nominations.
JCP Full and Partner Members have the perfect opportunity to have their thoughts, views, and opinions heard - all while helping to shape the future of Java technology - by serving on the JCP Executive Committee. JCP Associate Members elect the Executive Committee members to Associate seats.
The JCP will accept nominations for the one Associate and two Elected Seats starting today, 7 September, and continuing through 4 October. In order to nominate for any EC Seat, you must be the primary contact of either a Full or Partner Member. Instructions for how to nominate for the Executive Committee Elections were sent to the Primary Contacts of all Full and Partner JCP Members via e-mail on 7 September 2021. Nominations are only submitted via an online form at a URL which changes every year.
If you would like to be on the ballot for an Elected or Associate Seat, nominate yourself today!
If you would like to be on the Executive Committee but you aren't sure who your Primary Contact is, you may log in to https://jcp.org/, click "My Profile," and then click "View Membership Info" to confirm who the Primary Contact for your JCP Membership is. That is the person who has received the JCP EC Elections information and can nominate you for a seat on the Executive Committee.
