Nominations for the 2020 Executive Committee Elections end on 5 October 2020

Harold Ogle
Program Manager

If you are a JCP Member and wish to serve on the Java Community Process Executive Committee, have your primary contact submit your nomination today! The last day that the JCP Program Management Office (PMO) will accept nominations is 5 October 2020.

The PMO sent instructions to all Members' primary contacts via e-mail back when the nominations period began on 8 September, and again earlier this week (29 September). This e-mail message contains instructions on how to nominate for one of the seats up for election this year.

For more information about the JCP EC Elections, you can read all about them on our elections page online:

Once the nomination period closes, the PMO will announce the complete list of nominees next week. Then there will be a "Meet the Candidates" session you can attend online where each candidate will have the opportunity to present the reasons the community should elect them, as well as answer questions from the community about their candidacy. That meeting is currently scheduled for 29 October.

Voting in the annual JCP EC Elections begins on 3 November 2020.
