Thanks Bruno - did you have a chance to read the description of the course at the survey link? The course will be held on-line, virtually, over several weeks.

Or are you saying you would prefer if this course was an in-person event?

There are several options. Of course, Oracle University offers a for fee course, Java SE 7 Fundamentals, which is an excellent way to get started very quickly. The Java Tutorials, on-line and in book format are great resources. Finally, check out the tutorials on NetBeans.
