Mail Bag

Hello,
just wanted to say thanks for your podcast! It gives me incredible energy boost and a feeling for how amazing global Java community really is.
keep it up Sergey

First I want to say thanks to you for the very interesting podcast. From some podcasts I heard that you are answering questions, so it will be great if you can help or advice me:

1. NetBeans specific: what is the state of integrating JSR 305 and/or jsr 308? I made some forum threads but nobody give me an useful answer. Just something like the jsr 308 was planned but is not yet supported... So is there any way to turn the support in editor on??? Or can you give me email contacts to the netbeans guys responsible for it (I cannot find them on the web) ?

2. What about coding/design competitions in Java? Microsoft has every year ImagineCup competition, but I don't know anything about something similar in Java. Does Oracle plan to organize something similar? Is there anything similar yet (software design) ?

Thanks, Martin Skurla

TopCoder runs competitions in Java, afaik: http://javaboutique.internet.com/resources/javaatwork/topcoder.html
