Many Ways to Attend and Explore JavaOne
By Tori Wieldt-Oracle on Sep 15, 2011
Optimally, you have time for the full five days of JavaOne (you've registered and selected your sessions, right?). If you are squeezed for time, you can use the Discover Pass (keynotes, DEMO grounds, OTN Lounge) or the Discover Plus Pass (plus three technical sessions and the Oracle Appreciation Event). Once onsite, you will get daily show emails (check the mail account you registered with) and you can access the JavaOne Mobile App. Don't miss these great places and events at JavaOne:
night, starting at 5:30pm, there will be good music, food, beverages,
and a special guest will announce the winners of the Duke's Choice
Awards. The Mason Street Cafe will be open all week long with coffee and beer service.
Located in the Mason Street Café, this is an area for meeting up with other Java developers and architects. Drop by, hang, pick up free DVDs and T-shirts, and check out the new digital Java Magazine.
OTN Night, always the most fierce party at JavaOne, will be on fire this year: literally! We've taken the Burning Man festival as our inspiration, so that means a panoply of food, drink, and visual and aural entertainment. Prepare to be amazed! Join your fellow developers from JavaOne and Oracle OpenWorld and get yourself down to Yerba Buena Gardens on Monday night from 7:30pm-10:00pm.

The OTN roving video crew will be out finding out what's happening at JavaOne and interviewing community members. Be ready with your comments and answers. Fresh videos posted daily!
Maximize your time at JavaOne by coming a day early for one-day deep-dive training. Also, certified professionals are invited to stop by the Java Certification Lounge on the 4th floor of the Hilton to take a break. Enjoy free wireless, mingle with other certified professionals, get your top questions answered and more.
