Everything about Java Community Process (JCP)!

In her blog, Heather VanCura of JCP Program Office highlights all the JCP related events at JavaOne. The JCP is the mechanism for developing standard technical specifications for Java technology.

JavaOne offers many opportunities to discover the JCP program and meet organizers of the program as well as JCP community experts, spec experts, expert group members and members. The series of events includes sessions, panels, meetings at the expert drop-in, JCP Executive Committee meeting, JCP party and more.

Don't miss the opportunity to learn about standard development, upcoming developments in the Java platform and how you and your company can participate in the future of Java.

If you are not coming to JavaOne this year, the JCP is open to anyone. You can register and participate in reviewing and providing feedback for the Java Specification Requests (JSRs), and anyone can sign up to become a JCP Member and then participate on the Expert Group of a JSR or even submit their own JSR Proposals.

Not registered for JavaOne yet? Hurry you can still save US$200 off the onsite price!
