Great! Thanks!!
Waiting a long time for Mac support, when can I get it?

Posted by Ove Nordström on June 08, 2009 at 04:08 PM PDT #

At JavaOne we were told to keep on requesting for a beta of the Mac version, and the more would ask for it, the more it would become appearant for Sun to work on a beta.
The statement at JavaOne was that the release was for end of the year.

So here's my request: Please start on releasing a developer edition, gradually adding support for new JSR's thru the update center.

+1 for Linux :)

Any progress on the linux version?

Today our prof at uni told us to install Java ME SDK and play a bit with it... now I sit here looking kind of dumb... Still not available for my linux-box..

Come on Oracle! Pay some Coders to do it ;)

Lack of Linux support for JavaME is a large part of what drove me away from it around 18 months ago. Now I have a client requirement for a JavaME project again, but it looks like I will have to either turn down the job or do it using WTK 2.5.2.

Why have Oracle released Java ME SDK 3.0 for Mac before Linux - are there really more JavaME developers on Mac? I find it somehow hard to believe.

+1 Linux version!!!
