Device manager autostart

There is a new component device-manager in Java ME SDK 3.0 which is a cornerstone of the SDK. It runs in background and only a small icon in notification are on taskbar shows that it is up and running. It keeps running even if you're not working with Java ME SDK and it's launched along with start of the system. Not very nice ... You can easily get rid of autostart just open regedit and remove entry "Java(TM) ME Platform SDK 3.0" under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Run

Thanks for this tips but
I think that running msconfig can be easier...

I love SDK 3.0, very good, very stable, vary fast, it's a pleasure developing on it.
My dreams is to to see JavaME running on Android, Iphone, and to see a good MSA JVM for WinMob.

Keep up the good work.

Regards,
Davide.

Hi,

I have also noticed this icon since I installed JavaME.
However, I have not understood how to get rid
of this DeviceManager autostart.

Do I really have to go through regedit ?
I have found a key named HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\App Management\\ARPCache\\nbi-javame-toolkit-3.0.0.0.20090408

Do I simply delete it ?

thanks
Anne
