Oracle is pleased to be the prime sponsor of the GlobalPlatform virtual Secure Element (SE) for IoT Workshop on Tuesday, 13 April – Wednesday, 14 April, with the virtual exhibition hall extended through Thursday, 15 April. This virtual workshop will offer insight into standardized and readily available security frameworks and component technologies necessary to build trust into IoT development and deployment.
The workshop agenda is built around three principle topics: the Secure Element (SE) itself, the SE for IoT and finally, use cases and demonstrations. Subject matter experts from Able Device, GlobalPlatform, Oracle, STMicroelectronics and Thales will present the material and be available throughout each day to address questions and virtually network with delegates in attendance.
In particular, Oracle will demonstrate how its Java Card technology as an open and standards-based application engine, delivers security and connectivity services to suppliers of IoT devices and solutions. Two demonstrations about Device Attestation and Secure End to End communication between sensors and IoT cloud services will illustrate Java Card benefits.
This free to attend workshop will be of greatest interest to program / project managers, security experts, product suppliers, technical consultants, developers, systems integrators and all others who are also involved with deployment and use of secure IoT devices.
Additionally, Oracle will host a virtual booth to provide information about Java Card and related demonstration. If you are interested in a private meeting please schedule it from here.
