JavaOne kicked off yesterday with User Group Sunday, including a celebration of NetBeans' 15th birthday. The NetBeans story began in 1996, when students at Charles University in Prague attempted to write a Delphi-like Java IDE in Java. 15 years later, NetBeans has over one million active users and mind-blowing functionality.
