The Java EE 8 train has left the station. Java EE 8 spec co-lead Bill Shannon proposed concrete steps to get feedback from the community and start the JCP standardizing process. Java EE will focus on the cloud and microservices, reflecting customers’ move to deploy applications in the cloud and adopt microservice architectures.
