JDK 7 Feature Complete

The first feature-complete release of JDK 7 is available. It doesn't mean JDK 7 is done, but the feature list is baked (it's moved from from a slushee to jello to bread -- maybe I need lunch). As of build 123, JDK 7 is feature complete!

The big features, as promised, are there (InvokeDynamic and part of Project Coin). Also, JDK 7 includes features which were not part of the earlier plans but have been added because the community expects them to have high value for developers and users and because they are essentially finished. Some features have been updated, and some features have been deferred to JDK 8 or later.

If you are really eager, download build 123 and try it out. But for people with limited time, please wait for  the Developer Preview release, which is scheduled for mid-February. That release (Milestone 12) will be more test-worthy. We'll strongly encourage developers, deployers, and end users to download and test that build.
