Hello World and Welcome to my First Blog!

Hello World! And welcome to my first sun.com blog.

I’ve been a staff writer for java.sun.com since 1998, which has
allowed me to interview a variety of Java technology luminaries
and unsung heroes and write stories covering many aspects of the
platform. I’ve been able to interview some of the best Java
developers in the world, which is deeply humbling. You folks are
impressive!

I’m also a published writer of fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction,
etc., and have written and performed for the stage, in addition to
having tried my hand out (and had it bitten) at stand-up comedy.
(What does a hungry vegetarian say? “I could eat a tree.”)

A sneak preview of future blogs: I’m headed to Australia in March
to cover Sun Tech Days. It's my first trip to the outback, so I'm super excited.
I'm going to take some personal time to travel around Australia for
a week.

So welcome to my blog – hope it's fun for us both.

Hi Maolin,

First off, so so sorry for the delayed response. Been getting ready for JavaOne so things have been quite hectic.

There is a lot of information about Java EE tutorials and introductory classes here:
http://java.sun.com/javaee/reference/tutorials/

This should help you get started. Good luck!

Jan
