doc.java.sun.com is alive! (again)

doc.java.sun.com (the javadoc website designed for communal collaborative translation) is finally back up again after a couple of days being dead. It took so long because (tragically) I have a Real Job. It went down because of a small bug, which I then componded by having a guess about what was wrong, that turned out to be totally incorrect. I was once again reminded by brutal reality of one of the most important principles of debugging:
If you don't see the bug where you're looking, perhaps you're looking in the wrong place
Long story, all boring. One silver lining is that some nice indexing improvements contributed by Charles Liu got incorporated into the production server. Thanks!
Comments:

Hi, I know many people that would love to help you translate the Javadocs (myself included). However, printing, signing and mailing the legal agreement is just way too much trouble. Please make it easy for us to contribute and we'll happily help out.

I just found your blog James and love it! I never visited it before because I figured it would be dry, boring and technical. I couldn't have been more wrong - from now on I'll come back often. And I'm inspired to try to make my blog as interesting as yours.

Is there a place to leave enhancement requests? (currently some way to see only what has been translated to my current language)
I also agree with the previous comment.

The 8 Fallacies link, under your caricature, (http://today.java.net/jag/Fallacies.html) is currently broken.

That's great to hear that site is back. This is really a rocking one "If you don't see the bug where you're looking, perhaps you're looking in the wrong place"
