In a recent article in the System News newsletter I found a link to a document that Oracle published with information on Lifetime Support Policy for Oracle and Sun System Software. I thought this information is interesting for all engineers and consultants who work with the Oracle Desktop Virtualization products, these products are also listed in the document *).
The document contains a nice overview per product with information when the products are released and when the several support models ends (Premier Support, Extended Support and Sustaining Support). The document also explains the differences in the support models (what is included and what is not included).
I made some screenshots from the tables for the Desktop Virtualization products: Sun Ray Server software, Oracle VDI software, Secure Global Desktop and Virtual Box:
