Most of the avid OIC users are aware that the OIC notifications, whether it is system status reports or integration notifications, are sent out from an oracle address i.e. email@example.com. But with the latest enhancements, OIC gives flexibility to the users to choose the sender for these notifications. OIC achieves this by providing a simple and intuitive UI, where a user can easily add a list of email addresses which can later be approved to qualify as an Approved Sender in OIC.
Let’s see how we can do this in a few simple steps:
You can also choose one of the email addresses for sending System Notifications such as status report for successful message rate, service failure alerts etc.
(To refresh the approval status, please use the refresh button on the top left corner of the section.)
Congratulations! You have an approved sender registered in OIC. You can now use this approved sender in the From Address section of Notification Action in the Integration Orchestration canvas as depicted below.
In additon to this, you can also choose this Approved Sender for sending System Notification.
Please note: In a scenario where a registered email address is still “Waiting for User Confirmation” and the user uses it in the Notification action or chooses it to send system notifications, then the sender will be defaulted to firstname.lastname@example.org.
