Insurance Networking News (INN) today announced the 2010 Women in Insurance Leadership Winners. Among those earning recognition from the publication is Sallie Graves, head of insurance and distributed services IT for ING U.S. Insurance.
Sallie, who was nominated by Oracle Insurance, is joining an esteemed group of women who are helping to transform the insurance industry that includes Shawn Pate, vice president, Fidelity Investments Life Insurance Company. Shawn was recognized by INN as one of the 2009 Women in Insurance Leadership Notable Achievers and also was featured in the January 2010 INN article, A Global View of SOA-based Policy Admin Systems.
This is the fifth year that the publication has honored female insurance executives who have made a significant impact on their business. The 2010 WIL honorees, including Sallie, will be featured in the September/October 2010 issue of INN, and during INN's Women in Insurance Leadership Forum Sept. 26-27, 2010, in Chicago, Ill. Congratulations Sallie. We are proud that you have earned this recognition for your leadership in the industry and are paving the way for the next generation of women in insurance!
This is also the third time in two months that an Oracle Insurance customer has received recognition for their commitment to technology and business process innovation. Earlier this month, Access Insurance Company received the 2010 Technology Innovation Award at IASA, while American Modern Insurance Group earned the INN Vanguards in Insurance Best Practices Award at the ACORDLOMA Insurance Forum. We salute our customer for their continued achievements.
