We've published a new Enterprise Data Architecture Technical Brief. I say we, since this isn’t just about Database In-Memory. It includes the various technologies that are part of the Storage Technologies group here in Database Development. The technical brief discusses how these various technologies can be used to deliver robust application solutions. You may or may not have heard of all of the products that the Storage Technologies group has created. These products address functions in Oracle Database that include performance, storage management, data lifecycle automation, data transfer, compliance/versioning and more. In conjunction with my colleague, Gregg Christman (@aco_gregg) who is the PM for Advanced Compression, we are beginning to talk about the Enterprise Data Architecture in terms of how all of these technologies fit into the "big picture" rather than just the individual parts. Check out Gregg's blog post here and the technical brief is available here.
