Thanos Terentes Printzios
EMEA A&C Technology Adoption Manager

Oracle Database 19c builds on top of the innovation and improvements of previous releases such as Multitenant, In-memory, JSON object support, sharding and many other features that enable Oracle’s Autonomous database cloud services.

The industry’s leading database continues to deliver leading-edge innovations, including machine learning, to enable self-driving data management. Oracle Database 19c is a single integrated platform that supports SQL, JSON, XML, and procedural languages (e.g., PL/SQL, Java, C/C++) in a simple fashion with high performance and scalability.

This latest release of the world’s most popular database also introduces new functionality, providing customers with a multi-model enterprise-class database for all their typical use cases. The use of multiple single-model or multi-model databases depends on what the customer wants to do. Oracle offers the freedom of choosing either, multi-model or single model. However, Oracle is also providing integration with single-model systems via Big Data SQL which is a key differentiator when choosing Oracle.
