Partner Webcast - Oracle Coherence & Weblogic Server: Close Integration of Application & Data Grid Tier
By Thanos Terentes Printzios-Oracle on Jul 04, 2014
Oracle Coherence is the industry’s leading in-memory data grid solution that enables applications to predictably scale by providing fast, reliable and scalable access to frequently used data. The key to the linear scalability of Oracle Coherence is the partitioning of data across the nodes in the Data Grid.
Oracle Coherence can be used with Oracle WebLogic Server applications to increase application performance, throughput and scalability. Managed Coherence Servers provides tight integration between WebLogic Server and Coherence. This integration allows for a simplified and streamlined development and management environments of distributed applications. The functionality allows end users to build a new archive type (Grid Archive aka GAR), which can be deployed and managed via standard WebLogic Server best practices.
Developers can now streamline their build processes to generate GARs. Operations departments can now standardize deployment of Coherence and Coherence applications in the test and production environments.
In our webcast we will overview and demo how new integration features of Oracle WebLogic Server 12c and Oracle Coherence could be used.
