Do you encounter problems with JD Edwards 9.1 Standalone DEMO Installation?

JD Edwards 9.1 Standalone DEMO gives you an insight for the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, an integrated applications suite of comprehensive enterprise resource planning software that combines business value, standards-based technology, and deep industry experience into a business solution with a low total cost of ownership.

The Standalone Version of the EnterpriseOne software is actually intended for limited demonstration purposes
only and to get an insight and hands-on on the basic functionalities of the EnterpriseOne software and to know how it works.

Some of the problems one encounters during the Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1 Standalone/Demo Installation are as the following:

ERROR!!!

Package validation failed. An existing package is installed, but we cannot get information about its database from the file

When you try to install or re-install JD Edwards 9.1 Standalone DEMO sometimes you encounter some problems.

Check the following points before you start installing your software that you downloaded from https://edelivery.oracle.com/

  1. Check here for the full documentation on how to install JD Edwards 9.1 Standalone DEMO.
  2. Verify that your system meets the Minimum Technical Requirements.
  3. Before you start with anything, turn OFF your Anti-virus and Firewall.
  4. Please check and clean the inventory for the names of the Oracle home in the file inventory.xml inside the directory
    “C:\Program Files\Oracle\Inventory\ContentsXML”.
  5. You also can check and clean the registry regedit for the following keys:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Oracle\KEY_E1Local
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Oracle\KEY_JDE_Standalone_Home
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Session Manager\Environment JDE or E1local in the PATH variable
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\OracleE1LocalTNSListener and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\OracleServiceE1LOCAL

Next to successful installation you may proceed to the JD Edwards Resource Library who organizes all JD Edwards content available on the Oracle Learning Library as well as provides access to important information for both EnterpriseOne and World products available outside of the Oracle Learning Library.

    Hi,

    I have installed the standalone version in order to do some development (BSSV).

    I think I did the installation properly because I can sign on into the application, and access to the web interface correctly.

    But when I try to do a check in with the OMW I get the following message :

    I did some searches with FH98PRUL without success...
