Release Highlights

What’s New in this Release

  • Support for DBCS as Target  – BDP users now have the ability to publish their prepared datasets directly to Oracle Database Cloud Service.  This is an exciting new capability that complements our integrations with BICS, DVCS, OSCS giving our customers seamless integrations with complementary Oracle services in the Cloud. See Adding an Existing Oracle Database Cloud Service Instance as a Target.
  • Expression Based Repairs Powerful new feature enables powerful regular expression based repairs and transformations on the data.  These new features allows customers to create custom data repair expressions that are editable and complements the literal based search and replace capabilities. See Replacing Data Using Regular Expressions.
  • Support for New File Types – As part of every release, we continue to add new complex file handling.  For this release, the system handled the ingest of poly-structured and complex JSON files as data sources. See Understanding the Supported File Types.
