Oracle is pleased to announce the latest releases of Oracle Hospitality Cruise Shipboard Property Management System (SPMS) and Oracle Hospitality Cruise Fleet Management System (FMS) are now available. SPMS version 8.0 and FMS version 9.0 offer cruise operators industry leading solutions with enhanced security, scalability and functionality.
Shipboard Property Management System (SPMS) Version 8.0 Offers Enhanced Functionality, Application Tools and Security
SPMS provides cruise operators with comprehensive capabilities to handle individual guests, groups, temporary visitors, crew, and staff. This release offers an advanced quick check-in wizard and enhancements to shipboard crew management, mustering dashboards, safety drill management and gangway security to make guest check-in and reservations faster and crew operations more efficient.
The latest release of SPMS now supports Oracle Database 12c and is compatible with Windows 10. It offers hundreds of new features and a number of security improvements.
Fleet Management System (FMS) Version 9.0 Provides Enhanced Functionality and Security
FMS features a more comprehensive fleet management platform and facilitates centralized event management functionality for cruise operators. The Universal check-in module can now check-in cruise guests pre-arrival and enable shore-side staff to input guest information, including a guest’s picture – reducing passengers’ wait time on the pier and enabling guests to do what they really came for - enjoying a great cruise ship full of entertainment options!
FMS’ new Onboard Event Management module allows cruise lines to manage events centrally, greatly enhancing the booking and execution of events. Staff have the ability to choose an available ship property for an event and customize its associated features, as well as book the event on the ship from shoreside. Event locations and packages can be setup remotely. The event management module helps keep the crew on the ship focused on servicing guests while shoreside personnel manage the event booking process.
