, located in Scottsdale’s Paradise Valley, Arizona, is one of Westroc Hotels and Resorts properties, and a dream come true for wellness fanatics. Open since March 2017, the property features 182 luxury resort guestrooms, 34 one-, two- and three-bedroom residences and an 18-hole, par-3 golf course, all facing Camelback Mountain. For those wanting a sun-drenched getaway and a stellar guest experience, this resort offers warm weather, well-appointed accommodations, a variety of wellness classes, use of neighboring Sanctuary spa and a house Tesla that can shuttle guests to the base of Camelback Mountain.
To streamline the hotel’s operations and improve the guest experience beyond the amazing features and amenities, Andrew Chippindall, general manager and vice president of the property, has turned to Oracle Hospitality OPERA Cloud Service Property Management System to manage this location and other Westroc properties.
“We wanted to join our other properties under a single cloud solution to enjoy some of the shared operational roles such as sales, purchasing, inventory and reservations, and the cloud seemed like a logical solution for the team,” Chippindall said.
When Hotel Valley Ho opened in 2005, the property was a pilot project with Oracle. Since then, the partnership has grown, and they are now a full-fledged cloud customer.
With OPERA Cloud Property Management System, Chippindall and each of the hotel’s staff are more connected and able to improve the guest experience. With a single interface across the different properties, the hotels are able to view reservations, sales and inventory across all properties connected to the system. This enables reservations to offer rooms in another property if the original option is already booked, or suggest another venue for a group event if the first choice venue is already taken.
