Drayton Manor Park unifies operations with Oracle Hospitality

Oracle Simphony provides single solution for point-of-sale, loyalty, inventory and payments across all Drayton Manor Park F&B outlets as well as their on-site 4-star hotel

London, UK – 25 April 2016 – Drayton Manor Park will unify its operations across its hotel, zoo and attractions with the implementation of Oracle Hospitality Simphony, a fully integrated, cloud-based management platform for food and beverage operations.

The theme park, which is also home to Europe’s only Thomas & Friends attraction, Thomas Land, is deploying Simphony in order to gain a 360˚ view of its business, which includes the Drayton Manor 4* hotel situated at the center of its 280 acre estate. By moving to Simphony Cloud, Drayton Manor Park will have access to a wide range of functionality including point-of-sale, payments, inventory and loyalty management, which will help enhance the overall experience for the 1.5 million guests it attracts each year.

As a long-standing Oracle customer, the new implementation will help Drayton Manor Park grow its food and beverage operations. Additionally, Drayton Manor Park will have access to real-time guest insights from any area of its park, enabling it to improve speed of service, reduce queuing times, and the ability to reward returning visitors with automatic discounts and offers when they enter or use any one of its facilities.

The Oracle Hospitality Simphony implementation will include:

A scalable point-of-sale platform with rich functionality to support multiple food and beverage operation types, from coffee shops to restaurants

  • Oracle Hospitality Inventory Management, a robust inventory application that provides purchasing, delivery and stock management functionality
  • Oracle Hospitality Gift and Loyalty, a loyalty and rewards program that helps enhance the guest experience by tracking trends in spending habits across all locations
  • Simphony Cloud provides one single platform to support all of these functions, allowing Drayton Manor Park to simplify its IT infrastructure and maximize efficiency, while also having access to a single, unified view of operations, across all business locations in the park.

Oracle Hospitality will also be providing a cost-effective and cutting-edge integrated payment solution that integrates seamlessly with banks and other payment processors.
