Oracle Health Sciences Connect on April 8,9,10! Innovation in Clinical Trials!

James Streeter
Global Vice President Life Sciences Product Strategy

Excitement is building for our Oracle Health Sciences Connect event in Philly!

This year is the first time in five years that the event is not part of Oracle corporate’s combined industry event. This year, our event is exclusively focused on life sciences and safety. The event is specifically driven to provide a forum where our customers can collaborate with each other and with Oracle. Over 90 percent of the event sessions include customer speakers and are focused on critical industry eClinical and safety topics.

Monday is entirely focused on user groups for all of the Oracle Health Sciences life sciences and safety products.   The focus groups, hosted by our strategy, product management, and development teams, provide our customers with a review of the individual product road maps, offer interactions with other customers using the products, and an opportunity to provide input into the future releases of each product.   As of today, large numbers of people have registered for the Oracle Health Sciences Argus, Oracle Health Sciences Data Management Workbench (DMW), Oracle Health Sciences Clinical One, and Oracle’s goBalto products focus groups.

This comprehensive day includes:

  • A welcome speech from Oracle Health Sciences GM Steve Rosenberg providing an overview and perspective on the status of the life sciences industry and Oracle Health Sciences.
  • A demonstration of Oracle Health Sciences Clinical One Randomization and Trial Supplies Management (RTSM) and a first look at Clinical One’s electronic data capture (EDC), and digital data collection capabilities, as well as a demonstration of the end-to-end data flow process from goBalto to Oracle’s Siebel Clinical Trail Management System(CTMS), through to Clinical One.
  • Concurrent sessions with customers speaking on topics including:  AI in safety, study startup, CTMS, AI in data collection, patient monitoring, standards for drug development, and data management from source to submission.

Wednesday is even more exciting, as it offers:

  • An opening overview and demonstration of goBalto solutions and how they transform site identification and study startup.
  • Three concurrent sessions with customers speaking on topics including: success stories with Clinical One and CTMS and goBalto, as well as healthcare data for clinical trials, trial cost optimization, connected trials, signal detection and pharmacogenomics decision support, the safety cloud, and the future of data management.

In total, Oracle Health Sciences Connect provides an open forum for customers to collaborate in a receptive and dedicated environment for both learning and advancing the next generation of clinical trials.

I look forward to seeing you!
