Last year, we held our first stand-alone customer event, Oracle Health Sciences Connect, where 300 customers from across the health sciences spectrum came together to address and talk about a common theme – using data-driven insights to empower faster, better, and more cost-effective decisions in an industry that’s exploding with data.
In talking with our customers post-event, the most resounding thing we heard was that the opportunity for “networking and making connections with peers in the industry” was one of the best things about HS Connect, as well the innovative customer presentations, and being able to discuss cutting-edge topics and technologies. Well, we heard you – based on your feedback and combined with an increased interest from customers outside the United States, we are making HS Connect global this year! (We also heard you about the coffee – don’t worry, it will be flowing like water in 2020!).
This year, we are going to kick last year’s common theme up a level – we talked about “the what” (using data insights to empower better trials), now let’s talk about “the how” (how are we going to make it happen). We will be exploring technological innovations that can answer industry challenges by unifying all elements of the Clinical Development Lifecycle in a safe, secure, and compliant manner that also supports collaboration and adaptation to change. We’ll look at how decentralized trials, artificial intelligence (AI)-powered services, mHealth technologies, advanced collaboration, and a push for simplicity can streamline processes, shorten cycle times, and support patient recruitment/participation.
Life Sciences is changing, and at a very rapid rate. We all know it’s a big pill to swallow (no pun intended!) for our industry to completely change the way clinical trials and its processes have been conducted for years – but with data volume, data sources, and data types only increasing by the minute, it has to happen. We want you, the backbone of the life sciences industry, to join us in tackling these challenges and to start ushering in the next generation of digital trials by implementing new technological innovations (like remote patient monitoring), that will help you bring new discoveries to market efficiently and cost-effectively, all while still putting the patient first. Our mission at Oracle Health Sciences is to empower that success by breaking down barriers and opening new pathways to unify people and processes – not only in our technology, but across the entire customer experience.
Starting in March, Oracle Health Sciences Connect 2020 will be touring the globe to connect industry leaders and experts in the following five locations:
