China National Software and Service Co. Ltd Remarketer Adoption Event

As I have mentioned on the Start Selling Today blog, I'm currently in Beijing meeting with the key Remarketer Authorized VADs in China including China National Software and Service Co. Ltd.

CSS is working on building on their position as the leading VAD by Revenue globally at the end of Q3 FY11 by running events to recruit Remarketer partners. I was lucky enough to be able to attend one of the events in Beijing and along with Jeffrey Yan, Channel Director Oracle China, I presented at the event. You can see Jeffrey in this photograph presenting to the audience that exceeded 40 attendees.

Here is a picture of me after I presented on Oracle Remarketer at the event following Jeffrey, but what it doesn't show is the member of Jeffrey's team - Laura Zhang - who made my presence at the meeting of value by translating my presentation for me. Thank you Laura.


This last photo from the event shows me with the real stars that made the event a great success; which meant that the attendees left with a new understanding of how they could work with CSS and Oracle to start building an Oracle Resale business today with no barriers, no fees and no excuses. Redington Expands Remarketer Activity in India

As part of a drive to further develop the Oracle Remarketer presence, Redington Pvt Ltd, India has planned a series of Tier II city expansion efforts. This builds on Redington's already extensive success with Remarketer which is covered in an entry on start selling today.

Kick starting the onsite events were the cities of Lucknow and Indore. IT Companies and Resellers from these cities were briefed on the information available and the opportunity to work with Oracle, via the Remarketer initiative. Redington intends to continue the effort of reaching out to resellers with a programmatic approach offering end to end product offerings, partner readiness coaching and sales engagement.

During my recent visit to India I had the opportunity of supporting my colleagues in Oracle India and Redington by presenting at the Indore event.

For many of the resellers who attended thee events, this was their first engagement with Oracle. The feedback that we got from them was very positive and many intended to look for opportunities to use Remarketer in their businesses going forward.

"Penetrating the Tier II cities through extended channels is a priority for Redington as we wish to provide a platform for resellers to work with Oracle and us", commented Mohd. Sadiq, General Manager for Redington Pvt Ltd.
More cities are being covered in the next two months as part of ongoing efforts jointly by the Oracle Channels India and Redington teams.
