OpenPortal source

As promised in a previous entry, the source for the next release (7.2) of OpenPortal is now being hosted from the portal.dev.java.net project.  Development is actively underway.  Specifically, I am working on improvements to the AJAX portal container used in our samples.  There is more information on the glassfish wiki on building and installing (and release notes on Build 3).  Scheduling for milestone builds is still being determined.

We are about to deploy many new web services relying on AppSrv 9.1, IDM and AM and portal.

We encounter a critical limitation related to the fact that the REALM mode is not correctly supported in Portal Server 7.1update 1.
The support told us that the realm mode would be natively supported in Portal 7.2 when used with AccessManager 7.x.

However I got a call from a Sun French representative who told me that the realm mode will NOT be supported in 7.2.

We are a few weeks away from deploying those services thru the portal using access manager and we are expecting the REALM support in portal 7.2

As it is critical for us, and all the french banks that will access the service I need confirmation that it really be provided otherwise we will get into trouble as sun will then be.

any info and help or pointer is very much appreciated.
