In Brand New Tutorial: NetBeans Server Plug-ins, I announced the Server-Skeleton Module Tutorial, slightly over a year ago. Well, I've just updated it. Several files have changed. The download, which gives you an out of the box framework for building a deployment server on top of, has also been updated. There are still several open issues and questions, but all of these are listed at the bottom of the tutorial. So, give it a try. Several people all over the place are working on creating modules that provide deployment servers for NetBeans IDE. Now you can do so knowing that the tutorial and download are ready for NetBeans IDE 5.5 and that your implementation will be, too. All screenshots have also been changed and several other tweaks have been performed. Here it is, as before:

NetBeans Server-Skeleton Module Tutorial

I used a diff that I got from Stepan Herold, the NetBeans engineer who made the original server-skeleton module last year. Thanks for all the work that's gone into this very useful module and tutorial, Stepan!
