Twitter Integration Update: Twitter Search Integration

When you now go to the Plugin Portal, to this page:


...and if you click the Download button, you should see that you're downloading "TwitterIntegration-2.zip". That ZIP file contains two modules, as before. One contains the Twitter4J library (that module is unchanged), while the other contains the UI that I blogged about over the past days, with one new feature: integration of Twitter Search API:

I need to fix the Refresh button, so that the last search is refreshed. For the moment, it simply refreshes to your original friends list. However, the search works and I used it this morning to respond to a NetBeans user comment. Now, anyone could install the above and get started answering some of those NetBeans questions that have been coming in through Twitter, from within NetBeans IDE 6.5 itself.
