Recent Community Tutorials for NetBeans RCP Developers

One way to measure the success of an open source project is to look at the kind and quality of contributions received from the project's community. In this sense, the NetBeans Platform has recently been very successful.

First, James Reid recently contributed a tutorial dealing with creating a custom editor on the NetBeans Platform.

Then, today, Andreas Stefik extended that tutorial to incorporate a custom debugger for usage with the custom editor that James created. As you can see, below, the various actions for working with the debugger are enabled for the selected project of the type created via the tutorial by James:
