Nestor is interested in using NetBeans for BlackBerry development. Can someone tell him what he should do to get started?
One thing is to google for answers. I found several articles and blog entries, including these:
However, there doesn't seem to be a BlackBerry plugin for NetBeans IDE 6.x. At least, that's the way it seems to be from my googling. Can someone clarify on this point and give Nestor some place to start with NetBeans and BlackBerry development?
And thanks for sending the pic, Nestor!
I don't know much about NetBeans, but there is a development environment based on Eclipse:

afaik there is no direct support for Blackberry development in latest NetBeans Mobility now.
There used to be a plugin that allowed you to add the Blackberry emulator to Netbeans Mobility and then develop an application for it. It was a little bit more comfortable approach then the Custom emulator one described at http://www.netbeans.org/kb/55/blackberry.html
Unfortunately this plugin is not maintained anymore.

The plugin sources are in netbeans repository and we will be happy if anybody will fix/modify it to work in current releases.
Please, be aware that the NetBeans Mobility is designed for Java ME CLDC/CDC development. The blackberry use different packaging, etc.
The current source code would be at: http://hg.netbeans.org/main/contrib/file/tip/mobility.plugins.blackberry/
Thanks
