Here's the new JFX Fluidon plugin by Gaurav Gupta in action in the Family Tree application described in step-by-step detail in "JavaFX Rich Client Programming on the NetBeans Platform". Click to enlarge the image to get the full effect.
It's pretty cool and here's a movie I made of it today:
Hi Geertjan
I wonder if i am missing a plugin repo in my netbeans instalation (dev 20141017). I have only 99 available plugins (with 14 installed).
This is the repositories defined:
Pluginportal:
http://plugins.netbeans.org/PluginPortal/
Latest dev. build.
http://deadlock.netbeans.org/job/nbms-and-javadoc/lastStableBuild/artifact/nbbuild/nbms/updates.xml.gz
Additional development plugins
http://updates.netbeans.org/netbeans/updates/dev/uc/final/main/catalog.xml.gz
Among the plugins i can not find in the Plugins > Available Plugins dialog is the JFX Fluidon plugin. Is that because it is not available in dev. builds?
FX Fluidon says it requires java 1.8 but 1.7 is running.
That isn't true, 1.8 is running on this PC and is the only version available because the java installer recomended uninstalling 1.7
So if I have the right version, and FX Fluidon doesn't believe me, what am I to do?
