Integrated Cheat Sheets for NetBeans IDE 8.0.1

NetBeans user Sarel van der Merwe from Total Index in South Africa wants me to add new features to the NetBeans Cheat Sheet plugin. I found I'd lost the sources so recreated the plugin today, it looks as follows, i.e., it embeds a window to the right of the editor where your keyboard shortcuts and Java code templates are listed as a handy reference:

I've provided an updated plugin hopefully with more or less the same functionality to everyone's liking:

Install it into NetBeans IDE 8.0.1, probably won't install in earlier releases. I've found it to be a pretty handy tool.

For further enhancements, the source code is now publicly available here:

Could you check a little bit more? the plugin doesn't work for me. where to bring up this keybinds window? I see two black lines added to my window(of menubar) but they do nothing at all. I'm on ubuntu linux, by the way.

Have you installed it in NetBeans IDE 8.0.1? The windows should open automatically but can also be opened from the Window menu. Several others have already successfully installed it, I've been in touch with them and added a new feature in the 2.0 version of the plugin, download it from the same place as the first one, e.g., the possibility of selecting the file type for which you want to see code templates.
