How to get started with Scala in NetBeans IDE? Here you go.
Some other info, partly outdated:
Personally, I found the netbeans plugin for sbt indispensable.
My company's firewall rules prohibit downloading jar files. I am requesting an exception, which must include host name(s). Will I be able to use Scala and sbt if I ask for access to jar files at maven.org, typesafe.com, and github.com? Are there more common sites for which I should request access?
Sadly the Scala plugin for Netbeans doesn't seem to exist anymore. I couldn't find it in the plugin manager of Netbeans, neither on plugins.netbeans.org. http://wiki.netbeans.org/Scala only mentions Netbeans version up to 7.0, and the link to that plugin gives an error message :-(
