Swedish Developments on the NetBeans RCP

Some months ago, developers from Databyrån, Mercur, Artificial Solutions, the Swedish Defence Research Agency, and Björn Lundén Information were introduced to the NetBeans Platform at a training course in this street in Stockholm...

...which is where Artificial Solutions is found, who hosted the training. Here's a snapshot of part of the group, all from the various organizations listed above, some of whom flew in from Barcelona to attend the course:

In fact, there were too many developers signed up for the course. So, the majority of developers from Björn Lundén Information (company site) had to attend the training in their office somewhere in the outback of Sweden, near a place called Hudiksvall, where most houses look like barns...

...and this is what part of the group looked like, really nice people (with great "fika"), of course, like NetBeans Platform developers all over the world:

A follow-up course is planned to be held at the end of June in Sweden, which will be relevant for complete newbies, but particularly for more advanced NetBeans Platform developers. The structure will be different, application-based, i.e., each day a different type of application will be tackled, so that at the end of the course the students will have a number of different frameworks for their own applications, which could be pretty handy.
