Griffon and NetBeans IDE 6.8

Go here and download the latest NetBeans plugin for Griffon, which you can install into NetBeans IDE 6.8:

Make sure that the suffix of the ZIP that you get when you click the Download button is "". Then unzip and you will have two NBM files which, when installed into a distribution of NetBeans IDE 6.8 that includes Groovy support, will let you create Griffon applications in NetBeans IDE, together with a whole bunch of tooling, such as this dialog for accessing and installing Griffon plugins:

If you encounter any issues or if you have ideas for enhancements, the project page is here on Kenai:

i love it

Geertjan, when I right-click on a Griffon project in NB 8, it doesn't show the 'Project Properties' option. Is that support currently missing? I'm using "".

Yes. There is no Project Properties dialog. But, why are you missing that? What properties do you need to set?

I was actually trying to see what JDK is being used, and the various settings under the Properties->Run option. Also, I wanted to get the project location on the disk. Granted, there are other ways to get that information, but I was just going by the usual support that is available for regular Java projects in NB :).

Create an issue in the project's Issuezilla on and then I will add that support in the next release of the plugin.

I have added a Project Properties dialog that shows the location of the project and the JDK that is being used. That's all that the Project Properties dialog shows at the moment. Is that enough?

Gr8! Geertjan, when will the next release be available?

Anyway, thx for the quick response :)

When I try to install into netbeans 6.8, it shows dependencies on groovy and 'plugin options'. But I have activated groovy. And I can't figure out where I might get 'plugin options' from. It is not in the netbeans plugin list.

Thanks for any help.
