Decoupling NetBeans Vaadin Plugin from Vaadin JARs

As requested by Joonas and others on the Vaadin team, it's now possible to access the list of Vaadin versions, and choose one, which will then be downloaded, when creating Vaadin-based web applications in the IDE:

When you click the "Download" button, you see info parsed from this handy file that the Vaadin team made available for these purposes, as shown below:

I checked in an initial version of the above functionality into the Vaadin repo on Kenai. Some fixing and testing needs still to be done. Then the binary will be made available.

Comments:

Something I miss when working with Vaadin in Netbeans is the possibility to recompile the widgetset. This is needed when you have added an addon from the Vaadin addon directory.

In eclipse it's done automatically when an addon is added to the project or the Vaadin version is updated.

That's exactly the functionality I am working on next.

Any update on this? I've been trying to make it compile following the book and provided ant scripts without luck yet. Are you getting help from Henri Sara as offered here: https://vaadin.com/forum/-/message_boards/view_message/864692#_19_message_166567
