China National Petroleum Corporation & NetBeans

BEIJING, May 13, 2011 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC in short 601857)) officially released its new logging software CIFLOG as a symbolic achievement of oil & gas exploration key projects in Beijing.

CIFLog, the first 3rd-generation logging process & interpretation system based on Java-NetBeans leading computer technology in the world, is the first such system able to run effectively under three major operating systems namely Windows, Linux and Unix, as well as the first providing systematic evaluation method for complex reservoir and incorporating full-series open-hole logging evaluation and run cement bond logging.

Plus, it is the first software integrating all high-end logging data processing technologies (including elemental capture spectroscopy).

China launched its oil & gas exploration key projects in 2008, listing new-generation logging software as one of ten key equipments and the only large software equipment. Petro China Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development (RIPED) led other organs for development.
