Amsterdam on the NetBeans Platform (Part 1)!

Here are some pics from the latest NetBeans Platform Certified Training, held on Thursday and Friday last week at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. First, here's the group pic at the end of the second day:

And here pics of the presenters, Toni, Ralph (about his refactoring project), and myself:

And an action pic of the class hard at work:

But, as always, it wasn't only work that kept us busy. We went on an excellent boat ride with Ralph and his girlfriend:

There were snacks and beer on board, as illustrated here by Richard de Koning, the group's main instructor:

The boat took us through the canals of Amsterdam:

And everyone we met along the way was very friendly:

Later, we proved that NetBeans even works when you're in a restaurant waiting for a nice meal:

And there Oliver Whiler, from Refactorit, joined us:

The course ended with everyone receiving a certificate, with the encouragement to continue the great work they had begun on the NetBeans Platform:

Many more pics can be found here!

salvation if I'm happy you manipulate netbeans beginner you can help to realize a software (or application) that allows to store in databases information on servers located in a SIP SIP given area and also information relating to customers whose addresses are stored in these servers

The course was really interesting and a lot of fun, I greatly enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to playing around with the NetBeans Platform more in the future and see if I can port any of my projects to it for exercise.

Larry, my friend, I'm sure you're RIGHT. :-) Tawfik, salvation to you too, and I hope to be able to help in any way I can. Finally, thomas if you need any help feel free to send an e-mail any time (or, even better, blog about your problem and then you'll end up 'meeting' many other NetBeans Platform users. :-)
