NetBeans IDE 8 has been out a few months now, released together with Java 8. Its focus is tools for refactoring to Java 8 (e.g., batch refactoring to lambda expressions), tools for working with embedded devices like the Raspberry Pi, and tools for HTML5 development (such as features for AngularJS, Knockout, Apache Cordova, Grunt, Karma, browser integration, etc etc).
If you've been using NetBeans IDE 8, what do you think about it? The NetBeans team would LOVE to know -- a lot of work has been put into the NetBeans IDE 8 release, many developers were involved in it, a lot of work has been done in writing about it and promoting it. You've been kicking its tires and, more than that, using it in production environments, from large corporations like Boeing to small startups, as well as universities and schools. (Some listed here.)
With all the experience you've built up and the insights you've gained, could you spend 5 minutes sharing your feelings, your compliments, your gripes, your hopes for future features in NetBeans IDE?
Above you see the first few questions of the survey and there aren't many more after that. Go here and help make NetBeans IDE an even better IDE than it already is!
