Assembly Processing Software on the NetBeans Platform

Summit Management Systems is an Industrial IT Solutions provider. It provides
data-acquisition and plant floor monitoring tools for assembly

The team began working in the industry nearly 20 years ago,
using bar-coding as a means for tracing parts from the beginning to the
end of production, something that is still not as entirely commonplace
as one would expect.  Then they were asked by a client to design and implement
an operator assistance application that would allow a product to be
assembled by only a few people, instead of having an entire assembly
line involved.  

The team then came up with the Summit Work-Cell Management
application.  There are three main parts to this application: a server, a
client (which is installed in a work-cell on a plant floor, which
paints a large screen LCD), and the Work-Cell management application, which is created on the NetBeans Platform:
