Today Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 8:04:54 PM (PDT), a strong (5.6 magnitude) earthquake stroked very very close to Fremont where I am living. The focus of this earthquake was located only 11 km (7 miles) east (91 degree) of Distance Milpitas, CA. This is the 2nd time I really felt the quake in my lifetime. The previous one was also occurred at California about 2000.
I was washing dishes after the dinner when my house was shaking. I felt the sink and counter were pushed to my left, and myself also moved to the left. Then I heard lots of noise from tinkling clanging glasses and silverwares. The first thought in my mind was that someone drove a car hit my house. My wife was the first one in my house realized it was an earthquake. Of course, she was watching TV. The TV was vibrating. Eric continued reading a book without raising his head. Tiger was practicing flute and jumped into the living room. My wife and I were all thinking of running out of the house if another earthquake starts.
