Mobile UX London (MUXL) hold an annual conference to share best practices from across the UX industry. The 2019 event brought together a variety of enthusiasts from a wide range of backgrounds and companies, and even those who could not make it in person were able to opt for live-stream tickets to ensure they didn't miss out on the action.
Video-gaming and entertainment presenter Elle Osili-Wood hosted the day, which featured engaging talks from experts on different aspects of design, as well as insightful breakout sessions and workshops.
The theme focused on new and emerging technologies in the UX space, with topics ranging from virtual reality to designing for conversational voice assistants. 'Designing the Future. Together.' is the MUXL slogan, and this feeling of collaboration was present in the welcoming and encouraging atmosphere of the day.
Oracle have a strong relationship with the Mobile UX London community, having supported many of their previous events, and were partnered with this year's conference.

Senior Experience Designer Michal Dorosz, from the Oracle Consulting Digital Experience (OCDX) team, presented an innovative speech on Oracle's approach to gamification and how this can be used to improve experiences for our customers. He shared the Pirate's Quest use case, which focuses on increasing employee engagement in the workplace, and encouraged the audience to rethink the meaning of gamification and its growing importance as a tool in UX design.
