JDK 8 and JDK 11 have been deprecated for use with the Oracle Integration Generation 2 connectivity agent. We are ending support for connectivity agents running on JDK 8 and JDK 11 and require you to upgrade to JDK 17 for both Oracle Integration Generation 2 and Oracle Integration 3.

OIC will stop using both of these versions on January 15, 2024. This is also a requirement for upgrade to OIC3.

You can download JDK 17 from here

Some useful KMs:

  • How To Upgrade JDK/Run OIC Agent On Specific JDK Version (For eg. JDK 11) (Doc ID 2835759.1)
  • Upgrade Oracle Integration Generation 2 to Oracle Integration 3 (Doc ID 2933538.1

Also see the Agent documentation for more details, Download and Run the Connectivity Agent Installer
