Focus on AppAdvantage at OpenWorld

Oracle OpenWorld 2014

In my last week's post, I had shared key not-to-miss sessions for all things AppAdvantage at Oracle OpenWorld. This year we do have a great lineup of customer sessions, product roadmap, implementation and strategy sessions, executive keynotes, hands-on-labs, product demos, birds-of-a-feather sessions and lots more going on.

It is official! Executive Vice President of Oracle, Thomas Kurian will kick things off with the Oracle Fusion Middleware keynote on Monday at 1:15 pm. And Group Vice President, Amit Zavery will present the Oracle AppAdvantage keynote on Tuesday at 3:45 pm. If you have been attending OpenWorld in the past years, you know these ARE the must-attend sessions. Hear first-hand about product strategy, industry trends and Oracle's direction directly from the executives driving these.

Customers like National Academy of Sciences in the US, Lend Lease from Australia and National Express Corporation are presenting and discussing their implementation experiences (and that's just the lineup on the one panel that I will be hosting: CON7529: Automate Financial Processes for PeopleSoft and Oracle E-Business Suite).

So, if you have Oracle Applications in your organization, you can't afford to miss the Oracle AppAdvantage track at Oracle OpenWorld 2014. The schedule builder will be live shortly so we recommend you pre-register for as many of these sessions as possible.

And don't forget to bookmark the Focus On AppAdvantage for Oracle Applications document. Complete with date, time and venue information, this could be your navigation guide at OpenWorld.

See you there?

Focus on AppAdvantage at Oracle OpenWorld

Heading to Oracle OpenWorld this year? With the conference less than a month away, as you start to build your schedule, we wanted to make sure you had some key information handy.

If you are an Oracle Applications customer or looking to modernize your company’s IT infrastructure, or are interested in finding out how current and expected industry trends like social, mobile, cloud, big data and more are impacting IT plans for organizations today, you may want to look at the Focus on Oracle AppAdvantage document and attend one or more of these sessions.

This year, Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle AppAdvantage sessions are designed to give you a 360-degree perspective on business transformation and IT platform modernization implementations. Hear first-hand from your peer organizations, implementation experts, consultants and technology experts on how you can bring a successful implementation to bear. You will especially find multiple sessions focusing on how Oracle Fusion Middleware is augmenting the value you are deriving from your Oracle Applications implementation. Oracle AppAdvantage sessions this year are all about how the sum of Oracle Applications and Oracle Fusion Middleware is greater than the individual parts.
