During the first weekend in March, Oracle rolled out release 16.1.5 of Oracle Developer Cloud Service. This release adds many new features that you can start using immediately. Here are some of the highlights:
Code Snippets Support
A new tab that you’ll see is called Snippets - it provides a place for you to store code sections that you want to track and manage. This can be anything that would be helpful to share with your team members.
Git Push Triggers Build
It’s now very simple to set up builds to be triggered automatically after a push is performed on the Git repository.
Refined Git Repository Control
We added an administration option to the Git repositories allowing you to completely lock a specific branch. You can also control branch access rights for those on the team who can do push and merge.
Need to know the complete history of your builds including what triggered them, who cancelled a job and more? It’s now easy to get this information from the new audit button.
There are many other enhancements. You can find a good summary with links to more info located here.
